Since Father’s Day is this weekend, I wanted to do an activity where you can do something for your husband or dad! Dad’s love homemade stuff too. I remember when we were kids my mom bought a white apron and used puffy paint to write “World’s Greatest Dad” or something similar to that and we all put paint on our hands and did a handprint on the apron.
We did a similar one for my grandpa, but on a white sweatshirt. You can do handprints as a card, on a t-shirt, or in a frame with a picture that he can put on his desk at work. I think grandpas especially like this – I’ve noticed my father and father-in-law are much more sentimental as the grandbabies have come along. 🙂 Don’t forget to put cardboard in the shirt so the paint doesn’t bleed through!
If you don’t want to buy it, here’s a blog that shows you how to make puffy paint!
