I finished the Bammer’s cheer costume this weekend for my extended family Halloween party. It turned out so cute! I had made the skirt on Wednesday night and realized I needed to add a zipper to make it fit. So I added the zipper and made a little tank top with a zipper as well and appliqued on a V for Viewmont – where my husband went to high school.
Then I took some popsicle sticks and tied strips of fabric on them for pom poms and a few strips for bows in her hair. And this is what she looked like!
And then we took pictures together as a cute school spirited family. I have to say that the Bammer loved eating her pom poms!
So the costume turned out great and I’m super excited about it! It will be fun to dress up again for Halloween! Click here to see how I made the skirt!
As I mentioned before my family loves Halloween. So last week we went to the Off Broadway Theater in Salt Lake City and watched an improv play called Dracula vs Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. It was pretty funny! We took a picture with one of our favorite characters – Dracula. Very fun!
Hope you’re enjoying some fun festivities as the last week before Halloween! Then it’s the countdown to Thanksgiving! I love fall holidays…
