So I’ve had this project on my to do list for months now. Probably since my baby was 2 months old…and now she’s 8 months. Whoops! Well I finally finished it last night! Woot!
I wanted to do some cute photo boards in my baby’s room so it would be easy to put new pictures in and take them out and didn’t matter what size they were. Since we’re always taking pictures and the smaller sizes are cheaper…
So I bought some little cork boards that were 5.5 x 14 inches. They were really inexpensive – cheaper than a few frames.
I had some left over fabric from other things I had made in her room so everything matches together!
Here’s what I did:
I cut the fabric about an inch longer on each side so I could cover the cork board. I then used a glue gun to glue the fabric on each side.
Then I took some ribbon and cut strips and glued them down with a hot glue gun. This is where the pictures will sit.
Then I tied some bows from some other ribbon I had and glued them where the two pieces of ribbon meet.
And here’s the final product! So easy! So simple! So cute! I made a second board and half of the ribbon on the board I also used as the sheer pink ribbon. I really liked that because you can see through it to the pictures. So it’s up to you what kind of ribbon to use!
