I’ve attempted to learn to crochet a couple of times since I was a teenager. I would learn how to start and then a few days would go by and I would forget everything! So I would have to start all over a few years later. But now that I’ve been able to use
The Art of Knitting and Crochet DVD from Tricoast Online,
I’ll never forget again!
This Crochet DVD has great step by step instructions and even goes in slow motion at times so you can really see what’s going on. Plus if I forget how to do something, I can just turn on the DVD and learn again! The DVD I got has beginning and intermediate knitting and crochet skills which is perfect so you can learn the basics and then move on once you feel like a new challenge.
The Scarf Starter Crochet Kit I got came with all the materials I need to make my first scarf. I started it yesterday and look how far I am! I find myself wanting to crochet all the time! Now that I finally understand how to do it, and it really isn’t that hard.
You’ll notice I did make a mistake on the bottom left hand corner, but hey I’m learning and I think the rest looks pretty good!
There are some super cute things you can crochet that I’ve seen on pinterest lately. I’ll need to see if I can find a pattern and give these a shot once I master the scarf. 😉
Not only is it fun for you, but you can also teach your children how to knit and crochet! And Tricoast also has DVDs just for your kids to help them learn too! It’s a great activity and something fun to do with your family. They can make scarves as gifts for each other or even for themselves. Plus there are great humanitarian aid projects you can do: hospitals are always in of baby hats which would be really fun for your kids to participate in.
So make sure you head over to Tricoast Online to get your own starter kit! You won’t be disappointed! The DVDs are full of great information to help you learn including demonstrations and even some music to knit by once you know what you’re doing. You can also find them on Facebook.
