Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday! We did! We stayed with my parents until Sunday morning which is why I’m trying to catch up a little on house work and errands – hence the first post in a few days.
Alan and I celebrated our anniversary by taking the girls to the Sweet Tooth Fairy and got two cupcakes. He also brought me home a beautiful rose! Then the next night we ate dinner at an amazing Mexican restaurant and grabbed some Gelato after while the girls were at my parents. It was so nice to get to go out, just the two of us.
Wednesday the Discovery Children’s Museum was free so I took the girls! Bammer had a blast and Lowie decided to have a blowout…while I was holding her…on my white shirt…
But besides that we had a lot of fun!
Thanksgiving was great with lots of great food! We spent the holiday with my family this year and my sister got engaged! We are so excited for her and her fiance Jay! They’re getting married in March so it’s time to start wedding planning. I can’t wait to go dress shopping with her! I pulled mine out this weekend (I wasn’t sure where it even was, but we found it!) and it still fits! Woot!
Alan and I went Black Friday shopping for the first time! It actually wasn’t too bad. We went to Payless and Kohls and got some great deals! There was a long line at Kohls, but it went pretty fast. I would definitely do it again.
And we finished our thankful turkey! I love this tradition!
And now we’re back to the regular schedule. I had lots of laundry and cleaning up to do yesterday. Today feels a bit more normal. And I promise I will post a craft on Thursday!
