Here is the first craft of FIVE things that my mom, my sister, and I made for my sister Hayley’s wedding reception. It turned out beautifully!
Coffee Filter Topiary
And here’s how you make it!
To make the coffee filter ball on top, start by folding 12-15 coffee filters in 4ths and hole punch the bottom. You can decide how many coffee filters you want by how full you want to make the ball. We used 15.
Then take a brad (or you could probably use floral wire or even a twisty tie) and stick it through the hole on all the coffee filters.
Then pull apart the folds one by one and move them around until you get your desired shape. And then you have your super cute ball!
Then my mom spray painted thin dowels gold to match the wedding colors, hot glued the ball on the top of the dowel, tied a bow with decorative ribbon around the dowel, and then she poked the dowel into a pre-made gift box. So cute right? As you can see, we put them in the windows with small candles on each side.
These are great decorations for wedding/reception decor, parties, bridal showers, and baby showers.
