I recently had the opportunity to try some of Green Giant’s NEW Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Garden Ranch and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Barbecue. I opened them both to try them and it just so happened to be during lunch…my family pretty much devoured both bags! I will admit, that a lot of it was me… I couldn’t help it! They were so good! And I love that they’re made from vegetables and don’t have that fried taste. They taste fresh! I could tell I was eating something of better quality.
My husband loved them and even my little girls loved them. I usually don’t love giving my girls chips, but I was definitely OK with these! They have 18g of whole grain and hardly any sugar at all.
Plus they are the perfect side to your summer dish! And a great snack! I tried some of the tortilla chips with hummus and with salsa too. So good!

And with fall just around the corner (I know, I hate to even mention that the weather will be getting cold soon, but you know it’s coming!), here’s a fabulous taco soup recipe. We always crumble tortilla chips on top and the Green Giant Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips would go great with it! Don’t forget about that coupon when you buy them!
1-2 pkgs taco seasoning
4 cups chicken broth or 4 cups water with 4 cups of chicken bullion cubes
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1/2 cup cilantro
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced green onions
4-5 chicken breasts chopped
Toppings: Green Giant Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips, shredded cheese, and/or sour cream.
Place all the ingredients (except toppings) into a crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Serve with desired toppings.
For a quicker, non crock pot method of cooking: Cook the chicken breasts until cooked all the way through. Place the chicken and all other ingredients (except the toppings) into a large pot and cook on medium-high heat until the soup is hot and cooked through. Serve with desired toppings.
