If you happened to watch the slideshow that I posted last week that my husband made called Top 10 Reasons to be a Tanner or you’re a personal friend on Facebook, then you have already seen this, but I wanted to do an official post.
Yes! We are expecting BABY #3!
So in the original picture I had written due 2013… How embarrassing!!! Good thing for photo editing websites! Apparently I have zero brain cells left from the first two children… anyway…
So yes! Baby #3! Most days I’m pretty excited and other days I’m like, what are we doing!? Can I really handle 3 children so young?! Kami will turn 3 just 2 weeks before this baby is due. So we will have 3 children 3 and under. But this is how it’s supposed to be so I know God will give me the strength to do it. And I’m hoping this one will be a calm child because my other two are pretty feisty!
I took the girls to the grocery store yesterday and did a week’s worth of shopping. Usually Alan goes with me or we do little trips. So this was a big deal for me. And afterwards I thought, Ok, that was Ok. But there’s no way I can do this with 3 kids! Moms of 3 or more, how do you do it??
Kami understands a little that mommy has a baby in her tummy, but she’ll probably get it once I start showing more. I’m definitely wearing maternity pants already and I’m 13 weeks. They’re so much more comfortable! And pants seem to hit me right where it makes me feel nauseous. Bad idea. I love the stretchiness! 🙂
I’m also just about done with the nausea phase. I can barely sense it here or there. Mostly when I get really hungry. And I think my energy is starting to come back. Maybe if my kids would stop getting up at 5am I would have a better idea! 🙂 Lately Clo has had a few mornings when she wakes up at 5am. Luckily last night I was able to get her back to sleep, but it still makes me so tired. Just prepping for a new baby right?
Anyway, we are so excited and hopefully we will find out the gender at our next appointment. And I will definitely let you know! We’re hoping for a boy just because we have two girls already, but of course we’ll be excited about either one.
We had to take this picture 100 times before we got a decent one. Here was some of the process.
