So I haven’t posted about my pregnancy since I announced I was having a boy and thought it was time for an update. I had my 20 week ultrasound appointment at the end of the October and much to Alan’s delight, we’re still having a boy! He was worried because they thought Clo was a boy at an ultrasound and then a later ultrasound showed she was a girl. So he was afraid this would happen again, but it didn’t. 🙂 We are all very excited! And he looks great!
So this is me at 24 weeks. My next appointment is tomorrow and I have to take the glucose test. The thing I hate most is that I have to fast for 3 hours. When I’m pregnant, I need to eat every few hours or I start to feel sick and really light headed so hopefully the appointment doesn’t last too long!
Here are some fun facts.
Little baby Tanner is quite a kicker and tumbler. He often doesn’t kick in the same place twice. He’s moving all around and often! Which I love!
Kami knows his name and often asks if there’s a baby in my tummy. We’ll see how that goes when he comes out if she will understand that there isn’t a baby in my belly anymore.
Going up and down stairs makes me quickly lose my breath. Pretty embarrassing.
My hands radiate heat like they’re on fire all the time! Which is actually kind of nice in the winter.
If I didn’t sleep with a body pillow, I probably wouldn’t sleep at all.
I have heartburn almost every day which according to old wives tales means he has lots of hair. That’s proven true with my two girls.
This baby loves peanut butter! I’m always in the mood for it! And sweets, but that’s probably just me taking advantage of being pregnant. 🙂
And baby Tanner loves to hear his sisters. I often feel him kick when they are laughing or lately Kami has been roaring like a lion. Or maybe a dinosaur? But he kicks then too. I think he’ll love his sisters!
