This is a sponsored post. I was compensated for this post, but I love this planner and am so excited to share it with you! All opinions are my own.
If you’re looking for a planner to organize and pretty much change your life, look no further. The Mormon Mom Planner by In the Leafy Treetops is what you need! (And for those of you who aren’t Mormon, there is also a non-denominational option that is still Christian based, but won’t have LDS specific pages). I was in the market for a new planner – I loved my old one, but was ready for a change. I felt like I needed something that was a little more than what I had. Then came the Mormon Mom Planner and I am LOVING IT!
I used to have multiple planners for all the different things going on in my life. Multiple planners and multiple lists – a planner for my daily life, a planner for my business, a notebook with my ideas, sticky notes with my to do lists, documents on my computer with plans and goals. But you guys, all that has been put into one planner. The Mormon Mom Planner has all my plans in one spot. I don’t have to try to remember where I wrote things down because it’s all in my book.
Some of my favorite features are:
Design My Week How I Want
When I was looking for a new planner, I was looking for a planner that would work to how I needed to use it. I used to divide my days by person – each family member had a box. But it wouldn’t put my day in order of what was happening first. I love that this planner breaks the day in 3 parts (which is what I was doing on my sticky notes every day anyway). I break it up into morning, nap time, and after school. That’s how a I break down my day, but this allows you to break it down whatever way works best for you.
There are also multiple places on each week to write notes, lists, quotes, check lists, etc. It’s flexible and allows you to use it in a way that works best for you.
All In One
I love that this planner is all in one. It has the lists built in that I write all over the place. As I mentioned before, I used to write my lists, goals, and ideas in binders, sticky notes, notebooks, and in different apps on my phone and computer. And then I couldn’t remember where I had put my lists and forgot about them because I never saw them again. The Mormon Mom Planner has these lists all in your planner so you never forget where you put them and can look at them often.
Family Home Evening Planner
One of my goals for the year was to be more intentional with my Family Home Evening lessons. Often I forget it’s Monday until the evening and then we read a quick article from the Friend and call it a day. Which is fine, but not something I want to do all the time. Having a page created for FHE planning allows me to plan for the month in advance. So now I’m more prepared for each Monday night.
Along with planning your FHE lessons, there are also plans for major holidays like Easter and Christmas. I used to use Pinterest for this to collect my ideas (which I’ll still get ideas there), but now I have a place to write it all down rather than flipping through my Pinterest board over and over trying to remember what I wanted to do.
At the end of each month, there’s a few extra pages with places to organize and write down things to remember. I love the page that has the month divided into weeks with lots of lines. I had bought a cheap little separate planner at the beginning of the year to keep track of my virtual assistant business, my instagram, my blog, and my podcast, but these pages at the end are just what I need to write down my to-dos for each day. So now I don’t need a separate planner, but again have everything I need in one place! I love that!
Now because there is so much information in one place, this is a rather thick planner. I was surprised by how big it is! Usually I don’t take my planner with me anywhere. I just leave it in my kitchen, so it’s not a super huge deal for me. But if you’re someone who takes your planner in your purse or diaper bag, just know that it’s going to take up some space. It’s just loaded with so much information!
So definitely check out the Mormon Mom Planner! I was at a friend’s house a few weeks ago and she was telling us about her new planner and pulled this one out! Mine was in the mail and I was so excited that she had already found this planner! I think you’re going to love it as much as I do!
