A Little About Alexis…the woman behind the blog.
Alan and I were married in 2009 when we were in our early twenties – so we’re young and learning as we go. We have learned a lot in our 6 years of marriage and wanted to share it with you!
I grew up in Southern California and then I moved to Utah to go to BYU for school where I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English Language Learners and Spanish. That’s where I met my husband Alan. I lived in Utah for 10 years before moving to Wisconsin where we are in our newest adventure! Alan is getting an MBA at the University of Wisconsin. So we are living the frugal life on a student budget (again), but this time with 4 children in tow.
I’m a stay at home mom with our 4 kids who we call Kami, Clo, Nate, and Jack. Alan and I have always wanted a big family and we love having 4 kids so close in age! All of our children are less than 2 years apart. And it’s a little crazy! But Kami starts kindergarten in the fall and Clo starts preschool so I am really excited about that! I love my kids, but I also need some me time.
Here are some of my most popular posts that I’ve written that I hope you enjoy too!
I also have an article that was posted to The Power of Moms called 10 Tips for New Moms.
I would love for you to come follow me and see how our family learns and grows!
